The Cottage
Frye Island isn't a resort — it's a whole town on an island in the middle of Sebago Lake, reachable only by a seven-minute car ferry from Raymond.
Our cottage sits directly across from the Community Center, which puts the pool, tennis and pickleball courts, playground, and ball fields within an easy walk. Four bedrooms and a loft sleep up to twelve, so it works just as well for two families sharing a week as it does for a big reunion.
Inside, it's a proper lake house: pine-beamed cathedral ceilings, wide plank floors, a wall of windows in the living room, and a long harvest table in the kitchen that seats everybody at once. The covered porch runs the width of the front, and the back deck has a grill, a dining table, and an umbrella for the hot part of the afternoon.
Bed linens, bath and beach towels, kitchen basics, beach chairs, tubes, and games are all here. Bring groceries and a swimsuit.

Nine beds across four bedrooms and a loft. Two bedrooms are on the first floor, two upstairs, and the loft opens onto the upstairs game area.

In the Cottage
Frye Island
Renting here gives you access to everything the town runs — the beaches, the pool, the courts, the trails, the golf course. There are no gates and no day passes.
A seasonal municipal car ferry runs from 7 Ferry Landing Road in Raymond, roughly every half hour from 7:00 am until as late as midnight. Two boats run daily in July and August. You drive your own car aboard; the crossing takes about seven minutes. Ferry fares are paid at the landing and are not included in the rental.
The island is small and the speed limit is 20 mph, so most people get around by golf cart, bike, or on foot. A golf cart is not included with this rental but can be rented on the island.
